this ill-famed prodigy is here
in a search for the overflowing amity
challenging like art with or without
disleading metaphors

overlook this feeling
and yearn for another place
or muse upon this narcosis
and advance to another phase

it's been snowing for
a thousand years
almost as long as i've followed you

sweeping to limbo among the faces of you

i've lost the reason by realising the cause
can't find expression for this loss

not a word more for me to say
i'm giving up the poetry
because i think tonight i might
just slip further from the light
