I Am Divine

Heavy hearted with a map and a compass, I have no prisoners.
This ship is empty but it sails with a purpose, therefore shall see the earth.)

The earth, it rumbles beneath my feet,
when you’ve been through almost everything,
it’s the only thing you’ll need.
But I’m alright, and life is so unfair.
For what’s ahead there is no way to be prepared.
My new nightmare of traveling alone,
down this path tonight, is a waste of my time, I know.
The battle now to hold my head beneath this crown,
while they threaten to put me down.
Like a warrior I stood my ground.... Now.

There is no way to live through this.
We took the wrong road.
There was no way we could have known.
Even if fate is on your side, time is not... No.

In those final moments you thought about me.
How I sold those lies, stole those perfect lives from you.
I didn’t want to be this evil man.
But I played the part so very well,
I played the part and now in hell
I look back at all the problems that I caused.

And my apologies won’t help now.
